(Natural - News) Companies that sell colloidal silver, which could provide protection against infection with the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), now face possible reprimand from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for selling “fraudulent products.”

The federal agency, which only considers pharmaceuticals to possess any medical benefits, says it recently issued warning letters to multiple firms instructing them to stop suggesting that colloidal silver can in any way help prevent, treat, mitigate, diagnose or cure the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).

Instead of focusing on FDA-approved pharmaceuticals, which maim and kill hundreds of thousands of Americans every year, the FDA has instead indicated that it will be “actively monitoring” companies that sell colloidal silver to ensure that they’re not trying to help people avoid infection using this natural alternative.

“The FDA is exercising its authority to protect consumers from firms selling unapproved products and making false or misleading claims, including, by pursuing warning letters, seizures, or injunctions against products and firms or individuals that violate the law,” the agency further indicated in an announcement on its “Health Fraud Scams” website.

In order to make way for an eventual Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, the FDA is trying to clear out natural things like colloidal silver, vitamin C, zinc, and quinone that threaten to expose the inevitable jab “solution” as unnecessary, and thus fraudulent.

The science is clear: Colloidal silver is a powerful antiviral

Say what it might about colloidal silver, but the FDA is just plain wrong when it comes to completely discounting it as “fraudulent.” While we can’t say for sure that colloidal silver is a certifiable cure for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), it remains a scientific fact that silver ions are powerfully antiviral.

Long before pharmaceutical drugs even existed, silver was commonly used to kill harmful microbes, whether they be bacteria or viruses. Research into colloidal silver has found that it’s capable of killing more than 650 known pathogens, including the smallpox virus and even HIV (human immunodeficiency virus).

Colloidal silver is also capable of attaching to the outer protein shells of viruses and foiling their attempts at attaching to host cells, effectively preventing infection.

“Colloidal silver may be a lifeline or just a gimmick – only time will tell,” reports Film Daily. “Clearly there is a lot of positive information about colloidal silver which, in the absence of a mainstream solution, is not something to be dismissed outright.”

Of all the scandals hanging over Bill Clinton, the one that’s remained the most mysterious for the longest period of time is this: What was his connection to an alleged government drug smuggling operation run out of Mena, Arkansas, while he was governor?

Allegations have swirled for decades about the airport, where multiple federal agencies flew planes for years at the height of the U.S. cocaine epidemic.

Now, new documents, first obtained by conservative legal watchdog Judicial Watch, shed light on one of the darkest corners of the Clinton legacy.

In 1981, a drug smuggler named Barry Seal moved his operation to a tiny airstrip in Arkansas, the Mena Intermountain Airport.

Seal claimed he’d made up to $50 million by delivering 1,000-pound bags of cocaine for South American cartels. When the feds busted him, he became a DEA informant and helped expose how Nicaragua’s Communist Sandinistas helped cocaine flow into the U.S.

But rumors have always had it that Seal did a lot more than run picture-taking errands; he was smuggling drugs into the U.S.—and Bill Clinton allegedly sat at the center of the action.

Eyewitnesses claim to have seen a new airstrip being cut into the wild woods of the Ozarks near Mena, and very strange things happening there.

Former IRS investigator Bill Duncan said reports started to pour in of “automatic weapons fire, men of Latin American appearance in the area, people in camouflage moving quietly through streams with automatic weapons, aircraft drops, twin-engine airplane traffic.”

Sources claimed that the airport was ground zero of a massive illegal drug-and-arms-smuggling operation that imported cocaine into the United States and shipped weapons to Central American rebels—and rumor is that Clinton and his pals profited handsomely from the trade.

Clinton’s then-governor administration collected a 10 percent “commission” on every dollar of drugs flown into the Mena airport—and, according to a 550-page book by Terry Reed, Clinton saw that the drugs got laundered through Dan Lasater, a close friend of the governor, his wife, and his half-brother Roger Clinton.

“There was something going on there that the government desperately wanted to hide,” said the book’s co-author, John Cummings.

But it looked like we’d never know the details. In just a few years Seal was murdered by the Medellin cartel, and his plane – and its new pilot – got shot down over Nicaragua, illegally carrying arms to the Contras.

The fact that all this happened while Bill Clinton sat in the governor’s mansion made people ask the same question: What did Clinton know and when did he know it?

Amazing as it sounds, President Clinton has only made one statement on the shocking allegations over the years—in 1994. At a press conference, he said things happening at Mena “were primarily a matter for federal jurisdiction.” The feds “didn’t tell me anything about it,” and that “we had nothing—zero—to do with it.” At the time, reporters thought he used legal language to dodge the question.

Others said he outright lied.

The London Telegraph reported that Arkansas state trooper Larry Patterson stated, under penalty of perjury, that he and others on his team “discussed repeatedly in Clinton’s presence” very “large quantities of drugs being flown into the Mena airport, large quantities of money, large quantities of guns.”

In 1996, Congress ordered the CIA to produce a report about what happened at the mountaintop airport with the high volume of drug shipments.

CIA officials insisted the report cleared them…but it never saw the light of day.

Until now.

Judicial Watch sued and won the report’s release—but there’s a hitch.

Most of its 73 pages are redacted, erased, or crossed out.

Still, what is visible brings interesting facts to light.

The CIA states that it had nothing to do with Barry Seal—except for a two-day stint when they paid him to repair airplanes they flew on another, totally innocent mission with the Defense Department.

What that routine training with the DoD entailed, they won’t say.

But the document undercuts Clinton’s statement that he knew “zero” about the goings-on at Mena. The CIA says that “certain Arkansas state and local officials were informed.”

Those with knowledge of the Arkansas government in the 1980s say it’s unbelievable that Clinton didn’t at least know about what really happened at Mena, whatever it was.

“Bill Clinton likely knew a lot more than he has admitted,” Judicial Watch says in a statement. “We also learn there is a lot the government still does not want us to know.”

In fact, Clinton’s cronies are reportedly still avoiding investigators. Reporter Mara Leveritt said she personally read the Arkansas State Police’s enormous file on Barry Seal years ago—but when she asked to review it a few years ago, it disappeared into thin air.

“I knew the agency had an extensive file on Seal, because I’d read it decades earlier, shortly after Seal’s murder,” she said.

Because of this kind of stonewalling, Judicial Watch is demanding the CIA come clean to the American public.

“The Mena Report should be declassified and released,” says Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. The public deserves answers to what really went on at Mena.”

Remote Viewing (RV) is probably going to feel very different from anything you’ve ever done before. That’s because it’s all about learning to unblock your feelings, hunches and intuitive glimpses. People like musicians and artists, those who are trained to go with the the flow, are more familiar with the creative process and tend to feel more comfortable with it. RV involves letting going of your preconceived ideas about what you are perceiving and instead, just going with the flow of things.

BE A PSYCHIC DETECTIVE

Remote viewing involves a paradox: the more confident you feel during a session, the less likely you are to be accurate. What this means is that during an RV session, you’re acting like a psychic detective, looking for clues within your own awareness for something you can’t physically see or touch. Your conscious mind will probably tell you that it won’t work. But it’s wrong: It does work.

During an RV session, our conscious minds, which usually act like they know what’s going on at every moment, have to surrender to the unknown. Our conscious minds like hard, concrete information: RV signals tend to be soft. Our conscious minds like certainty: RV sessions are the embodiment of uncertainty. Our conscious minds like to be right, as much as possible: while doing RV, we have no idea if we are right or not. And often after getting to see our feedback picture, we’ll see a lot that we missed. And things we made up that aren’t there.

RV is really a big ego buster. It’s humbling for your conscious mind to accept that it’s not as good as your subtle mind at this task, but it will get used to it. You just have to accept the idea that there are no bad RV sessions, if you learn something about yourself every time you do one.

And your conscious mind also has to learn to get together with your unconscious mind: the one who has access to non-local information. Believe me, it’s a really profound learning experience to find out that your conscious mind, who feels like it’s in control of your waking life, can only go so far before it has to hand off it’s job to another part of your awareness, your non-local self.

The first step in learning to be good at RV is letting go of the need to be right all the time.

This is a big deal for many of us but it’s good for you: you learn more when you’re wrong about something than when you’re right, and RV is no different.

Just so you know, there are many different styles of remote viewing, the main branches being Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV) and Extended Remote Viewing (ERV). The difference between these two styles is that CRV originates from psychic Ingo Swann and is a written protocol with defined stages. ERV on the other hand is an earlier system that is more like stream of thought and doesn’t necessarily require pen and paper: you can use a digital or tape recorder to record your impressions. I’m not aware of any evidence that suggests that one system is more accurate than another. However, I learned the CRV system so my ideas stem from that line of thinking.

Now it’s quite possible that you are a natural psychic and already have your own system for viewing. Just stick with what works for you. There’s no right or wrong here. But if you’ve never done anything like this before, you can follow the steps below.

HOW TO BEGIN REMOTE VIEWING

The first thing that you want to do is find a quiet place where you won’t be distracted. RV is not so much a mental process as a sensing protocol. You use your awareness to become aware of your entire body and what its feeling. It’s not just about mental concentration.

But the first step is to quiet your mind in any way that suits you. It’s called a cool down period. During an RV session, you want as little mental noise as possible.

HAVE SOMEONE ELSE SELECT A RANGE OF TARGETS

What you’re going to need to practice are some picture targets chosen for you in advance by a friend or a helper. These should be pictures cut from magazines and pasted on sheets of blank, white paper, perhaps ten or so, one picture per sheet. Pictures of people, architecture, nature, and travel are often good choices. Don’t pick a target picture that may be offensive or disturbing to the viewer.

The target pictures should be of real world objects, events, or places, not computer graphics. Have your friend stack them in a manilla envelope face down and say absolutely nothing about them to you. You’ll view them one at a time, getting feedback after each session from the facedown target at the top of the pile.

The main idea behind RV is to increase your sensitivity to unconscious information that you already have available to you. And that’s a lot of information.

Studies show that we have over 20 million bits of information from our physical senses each second. (And that’s not counting non-local RV-type information). But we are consciously aware of only 16 bits. That’s a loss of more than 99.999 percent of the information that we could have access too. The information is still there, but it’s buried in our unconscious mind. Your job is to make sense of it and write it down before your conscious mind interferes in some way.

The goal of RV or any type of psychic activity is to become more sensitive to the really subtle information: to access it without distorting it. You’re accessing a hidden channel of non-local information that is normally not available to you consciously.

One way to practice this during the day is to see how much sensory information you can describe in your immediate environment, as accurately as possible. You may think you know what’s in your surroundings, but it if really take a look, you’ll see it’s more varied than you imagined. There are more shades of colors, more patterns, more contrasts than your conscious mental image contains.

That’s because most of the sensory information you experience each moment is generated by your brain, about 80 percent to be exact. Only about twenty percent of your perceived sensory information is coming from outside you. The rest is created by your physical mind to save energy and time: it’s making its best guess about what’s going on around you based on a small sampling of the environment. What you think you’re seeing is actually a hallucination of sorts.

An example of this are the saccades that your eyes constantly make: the small flitting motions that your eyes exhibit about three times a second. They’re constantly scanning your environment with small, jumpy motions. But your brain edits this out for you and so when you look around, things seem still. Even if you look at your eyes in a mirror you won’t see the saccades, they’re edited out from your consciousness.

So, when you’re practicing viewing, you’re attempting to describe very subtle information that is much weaker than your conscious perceptions. If you’re describing a photo target, and the image in your mind is 3D and very colorful, you’re probably making it up! True RV impressions are very subtle, fleeting, and transient. Many people don’t ever “see” anything while they’re viewing. They may just get sensory impressions without knowing how they got them. The main thing is to write it down before the information disappears into your mind’s deletion trash bin.

After “cooling down” for a few minutes, write down the date, time and any ideas you want to let go of that may distract you while viewing. Then you want to begin the session by describing the most basic impressions you have of the target site, event, or person. What do you feel is the predominant thing in the target. Is it natural or artificial? Land, water? Motion or energy? Pick one or two of these descriptors and write them down.

DON’T SECOND GUESS YOURSELF

The main thing is not to second guess yourself. Write down the first thing that comes to your mind. The fainter, the better. Just make sure you write down the information as descriptively as possible and don’t judge anything. Remember, your job is to describe, not define, what’s going on at the target site.

The information isn’t just coming from your mind, it’s coming from your autonomic nervous system too. The idea is that your unconscious already knows everything there is to know about the target, it just has to communicate that to your conscious mind. It does that through your body with very subtle sensations and feelings and that take time.

After a few minutes, proceed to describe basic sensory information, like visuals, smells, tastes and temperatures. Then you may start perceiving sizes, shapes and patterns. What viewers call Dimensionals. You may even start to feel an emotional reaction to the target. Just make sure not to omit anything. Loud, persistent images are most likely mental noise. Write that info down too, just make sure you note that it is probably analysis on your part and not coming from the the target.

Eventually, you’ll want to draw sketch. Take your time and don’t worry about how your sketch looks. Finally, imagine yourself floating several hundred feet over the target area. Is there anything surprising about the target that you can perceive? Make a note of your final impressions about the target. Then write down the time, finish your session, and write a few sentence summary of what you perceived. Look over everything your wrote down as you might have forgotten about it by now.

When you’re ready, pull out the top photo from the envelope and see how you did! This is called “getting your feedback.” You might surprise yourself with how much you got right. Take your time to really look at the colors, shapes, and other descriptors. You might see aspects of the target that are apparent in your session only after some careful inspection of everything wrote down. But if you didn’t get anything in the photo, don’t despair. The main point of RV is to learn about yourself, not just to be accurate. It can take some time before you make a big breakthrough. But when it happens, it might just come as a shock to you that it works. And don’t overdo it either, you want this to stay fun to get the best results in the long run.

Around fifteen years ago I was lucky enough to take some seminars with the late Beverly Jaegers of the U.S. PSI Squad who often helped law enforcement all over the United States in hundreds of missing persons cases. They had a success rate somewhere near eighty percent but never took any credit for helping. Beverly, author of the hands on “how to” book The Psychic Paradigm, was a highly talented, self-taught psychic whom you might have seen on TV. She excelled at Psychometry, or detecting non-local information merely by touching an object associated with it.

One time, when I was working on a practice target at a seminar with her, she came over to me and asked me what I was perceiving about the target. It was a description of a vehicle but I hadn’t written it down: Beverly told me write it down and then said to me in a loud voice: “Don’t second guess yourself!” My description turned out to be a very accurate one of the suspect’s vehicle in the arson case she had given us. All we had been allowed to do at the beginning of the session was touch the outside of an envelope containing some physical evidence.

DETACH FROM THE OUTCOME

Another beautiful paradox of the RV process is that the more you’re detached from the outcome of the session, the better you’ll do. In other words, if you just do the session for the fun of it or for the challenge of describing your perceptions as thoroughly and accurately as possible, your session will be more accurate than if you’re worried whether your data are right or not.

Growing up in the educational systems that most of us did, we’re concerned with being right and defending our ideas with facts. But you can’t do that during RV, so you just have to let go and do your best. Because as long as you’re attempting to use our “senseless” senses you’ll be making progress. You’re accessing a new communications systems that may have been dormant for quite a while, so be patient with yourself.

Resist the urge to feel excited if you make good target contact or dejected if you miss. The point is get in touch your internal communication systems and get better at decoding it. You can’t learn this overnight just like you can’t learn to play a musical instrument without lots of practice. But if you persist through your viewing sessions, no matter what the outcome, some amazing experiences await you. Everyone is different, so you’ll have to let me know how this process affects your personal, cognitive, and spiritual development. But for most people I know, eventually something profound happens and you just feel expanded and more in touch with what’s going on inside and around you.

One book I can highly recommend is Explorers of the Infinite: The Secret Lives of Extreme Athletes by Maria Coffey. It’s not about RV per se, but more about the spontaneous awareness and intuitive flashes of insight that come to people, or those close to them, involved in extreme sports and adventure activities. It’s uncanny how people participating in difficult, challenging situations tap deeply into their intuitions and get precognitive information about what they’re about to encounter on a climb to a mountain top or deep in the wilderness. It shows us that these abilities are built into us yet they need some coaxing to be fully activated.

It’s really important to remember that you are already as psychic as you need to be.You don’t need to be more psychic than you already are but you can learn to be more mindful and attentive at every moment. Being psychic also means being more sensitive and that comes with a price. If you become too sensitive to your environment or perceptions, you may feel overwhelmed. Many natural psychics suffer from health issues. Others only attained their highly-accurate abilities after a major accident or traumatic event. So you don’t need to be more psychic: the point of RV practice is be a more integrated, perceptive and balanced, not to be able to predict tomorrow’s lottery numbers, unless that’s really your highest joy.

Highly-accurate, natural psychics are extremely rare. However, everyone has this ability to some degree or another, so it’s worth practicing just to surprise yourself and find out more about who you are. And to show yourself some incontrovertible evidence that some part of you is, in some hidden way, intrinsically connected to everything else in the universe.

Dr. Gerald Pollack is one of the few expert researchers in the area of water and what it means to your health. He's a professor of bioengineering at the University of Washington, whose theory of water is nothing short of ground-breaking.

Water is clearly one of the most important factors in terms of what you put into your body, simply because without it you will die within a few short days. You may know that two-thirds of your body is water, but did you know that in terms of the number of molecules, your body actually consists of over 99 percent water molecules!

Astounding, isn't it?

For years, Dr. Pollack had been doing research on muscles and how they contract, but it struck him as odd that the most common ideas about muscle contraction do not involve water, despite muscle tissue consisting of 99 percent water molecules.

"So I became interested in water," Dr. Pollack says. "We've been doing research in my laboratory at the University of Washington for some 10 years now on water. The book that I wrote in 2001, it's called Cells, Gels, and the Engines of Life, talks about the role of water in cell biology. Water is absolutely central."

Yet textbooks by and large completely ignore the presence of water in your organs, muscles and tissues. Dr. Pollack's book addresses this discrepancy and brings to the fore the role of water.

"The central message of that book is that if you don't understand how water interacts with the components of the cell, you haven't a clue of how the cell works," he says.

Interestingly enough, if you're like most people, you probably think we've got water all figured out. But according to Dr. Pollack, this is far from true. In fact, "those in the field know that it's absolutely not true. We haven't a clue how water works," he says. So here we are in 2011, and even now leading scientists like Dr. Pollack are just starting to pick at the tip of the iceberg in terms of understanding the foundational basis of water!

"In our lab, we've been focusing mainly on water structure near interfaces. Your body, of course, is filled with interfaces. Inside the cell, it's mainly proteins, nucleic acids, and salts. They're all interfacing with water," Dr. Pollack says.

"So the central question is: what happens when water interfaces with those constituents? Does it change? Does it remain the same? This is where we've made some important discoveries."

By the time of his death, the medical establishment had branded Pauling a quack, because he advocated the use of high doses of vitamin C to treat many diseases. Irwin Stone first introduced Pauling to vitamin C, and explained that it wasn't really a vitamin at all, but an essential substance we could no longer manufacture in our bodies. Most animals make their own vitamin C, in large amounts. In humans, the gene for this ability has mutated and no longer works properly.

When Pauling looked into Stone's claims, he found that conventional medicine had long ignored evidence from respected physicians and scientists. This research suggested that high doses of vitamin C might be a cure for many illnesses, including cancer and heart disease. However, when he explained these findings in his wonderfully constructed books "Vitamin C and the Common Cold" and "How to Live Longer and Feel Better", the medical profession was incensed, implying that a mere chemist could not possibly understand the intricacies of medical science.

If Pauling was correct, vitamin C could help overcome the major killers in the industrialised world. This sounded so unlikely that a lesser scientist making the claim would probably have been ignored; the medical world had already disregarded similar reports of vitamin C. Linus Pauling had a reputation for being 20 years ahead of other scientists.

He may well have been years ahead in other fields but, in medicine, the insiders considered such a thing to be impossible. Pauling battled with the medical authorities and convinced a lot of the public of the benefits of high dose vitamin C. He took on the medical establishment because the implication for health was enormous: an end to premature death and unnecessary suffering from heart disease, infection and many cancers.

Since Pauling's death, the medical establishment has reclaimed the scientific position with a series of experiments on vitamin C. In particular, the NIH measured the distribution of vitamin C in the body and claimed that Pauling was wrong about the need for high doses, as the blood could be saturated at low doses [Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA, 93, 3704-9.]. They added that doses higher than one gram were potentially dangerous. From this point on, the high dose vitamin C lobby were on the defensive.

If the body could be saturated at low doses, the argument went, higher doses were simply a waste or even potentially dangerous. However, clinical reports of the utility of high dose vitamin C had been repeated in the literature for over 50 years. These reports continued, particularly in the fields of heart disease, infections and cancer, contradicting the NIH conclusions. Either the clinical reports of the efficacy of high doses were incorrect, or the NIH experimental work was flawed.

Taking note of this inconsistency, Drs Steve Hickey and Hilary Roberts decided to investigate the data for a book ("Ascorbate, the science of vitamin C", www.lulu.com/ascorbate). They began by looking at the apparently ludicrous claims for the medical effects of vitamin C. Pauling had stated that the substance could cure cancer and that shortage was the major cause of heart disease. Among his many scientific advances, Pauling had made occasional errors: perhaps he had done the same with vitamin C. If he was wrong, his hypotheses should be easy to refute.

When they examined the evidence, Hickey and Roberts found background evidence for Pauling's ideas from independent scientific and medical reports, covering half a century. The findings in these papers could neither be dismissed as placebo effects nor easily explained. The reports included remission of AIDS, cures for cancer, and the immediate recovery of children at the point of death from septic shock. The claims seemed so out of the ordinary that they were hard to believe. However, Hickey and Roberts could find no counter examples in the scientific or medical literature.

If these positive reports were indeed wrong, no-one had shown this to be true. The scientific evidence was consistent with Pauling's ideas, with a few notable exceptions. The primary exception was the NIH data on blood and tissue saturation. The medical establishment accepted the NIH conclusions and held them in the highest regard. The US Institute of Medicine had based their official recommended dietary allowance (RDA) on these results. If the NIH was correct, then Pauling was wrong and the positive reports of high doses must be invalid.

The NIH conclusions were not correct, however. Hickey and Roberts examined their experiments and found them to be full of errors. For example, the researchers had given a dose of vitamin C, waited until it had been excreted and then measured blood levels. Using this procedure, they found that increasing the dose did not greatly increase the blood levels. Instead of realising that this was because the dose had been excreted, the NIH claimed it was because the body was saturated, so higher doses were redundant. They then used white blood cells as a model for normal cells, to see how they absorbed vitamin C from their surroundings. These white blood cells are specialised to absorb vitamin C, even when supplies are low. If other body cells were similar to white blood cells, we would normally have a reserve of 40 grams in our bodies. In this case, given the proposed RDA of 200mg, it would take 2-3 years to fill a depleted body. This is demonstrably incorrect: the classic example is that James Lind's sailors recovered from scurvy in a matter of days when they were given citrus fruits containing small amounts of vitamin C.

These mistakes were gross and unsupportable. In order to check their re-interpretation of the data, Hickey sent emails to the NIH, the Institute of Medicine and every scientist he could contact who was associated with the RDA, asking them to provide a reasonable scientific response to these errors. No-one was able to provide such a response. Since it is normal scientific practice to explain and defend your ideas, the hypothesis that people only need small amounts of vitamin C looks increasingly shaky.

Even the NIH's subsequent data contradicts their earlier work. The NIH vitamin C group published a series of papers on vitamin C and cancer [Ann Intern Med, 140(7), 533-7.]. In these papers, they suggested that repeated doses of oral vitamin C would produce blood levels of at least 220 microM (a measure of the concentration) , which is three times greater than the 70 microM maximum 'saturated' value they claimed in their RDA papers. While their own papers clearly showed that their low-dose claims were wrong, the NIH appeared not to notice. Instead, they suggested that intravenous doses could produce higher blood levels, which might be effective against cancer. Even though their data were coming closer to Pauling's findings on the use of vitamin C in cancer, the NIH took the opportunity to mount another attack on Linus Pauling, suggesting he did not know the difference between oral and intravenous (IV) vitamin C.

Pauling had performed a series of trials with Dr Ewan Cameron, a Scottish cancer specialist, showing that intravenous vitamin C allowed cancer patients to live much longer than expected. Numerous other studies confirmed this effect, particularly the work of Dr Abram Hoffer and Dr Hugh Riordan. The Mayo Clinic tried to refute this research but failed, as they used low, oral doses, making their results invalid. In their own cancer paper, the NIH researchers claimed that Pauling and Cameron's use of the IV route was 'serendipitous', implying that Pauling did not know the difference between injected and oral doses. In fact, Pauling had written explicitly about this difference, so the NIH criticism was misplaced.

A new scientific theory, called the dynamic flow model, explains all the observed responses to vitamin C in the literature. This model is described in the book "Ascorbate", mentioned above. According to the model, people should ideally be in a state of dynamic flow, which means they should ingest more vitamin C than they need, in the form of divided dose supplements. The extra ascorbate flows through the body and is excreted in the urine. It is not wasted, however, as the excess acts as a reservoir when extra vitamin C is required. Dynamic flow is the closest we humans can get to restoring our physiology to how it was before we lost the ability to make vitamin C in our bodies, as most other animals still do.

It is difficult to imagine what Linus Pauling would have made of all this had he lived. Hickey and Roberts like to think that he would have pointed out the NIH errors earlier. He might have had fun explaining that the NIH could not perform a simple experiment, yet tried to blame him for the deficiencies in the Mayo Clinic's research. It is now 10 years since Pauling's death. Biologist Ren' Dubos suggested that the mainstream converges with Pauling twenty years later. If so, we only have another decade to wait until the medical establishment can admit that Pauling was right all along.

Similarly, in 2008, a federal judge ruled that three pharmaceutical companies artificially marked up their prices in order to defraud Medicare.
 
In fact, dozens of U.S. states have filed suit against pharmaceutical companies for actions that are conspiracies: conspiracy to engage in price fixing, conspiracy to bribe doctors, conspiracy to defraud the state and so on.
 
The massive drug company GlaxoSmithKline, even more, plead guilty to a massive criminal fraud case involving a global conspiracy to bribe doctors into prescribing more GSK drugs.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. A deeper look into the criminality of just the drug industry alone reveals a widespread pattern of conspiratorial behavior to defraud the public and commit felony crimes in the name of "medicine."
 

What is a conspiracy, exactly?

As any state or federal prosecutor will gladly tell you, a "conspiracy" is simply when two or more people plot to commit an act of deceit (or a crime).

Thus, when three hoodlums plan to rob the local Quickie Mart, they are engaged in a "conspiracy" and will likely be charged with a "conspiracy to commit armed robbery" in addition to the different crime of "armed robbery." The fact that they planned it with several friends makes it a "conspiracy" worthy of additional felony charges, you see. When these charges are brought up in court, the judge doesn't look at the prosecutor and say, "You are a conspiracy theorist!" That would be absurd.

The idea, then, that there is no such thing as a conspiracy is flatly ludicrous. And people who condemn others as being "conspiracy theorists" only make themselves look mentally impaired.

To live in our modern world which is full of collusion and conspiracy -- and yet somehow DENY the existence of any conspiracies at all -- is an admission of a damaged brain. Of course there are conspiracies, and when people analyze those conspiracies, they are "theorizing" about what happened. This is, in fact, precisely the job that police detectives and FBI agents carry out almost daily.

Most police detectives are, in reality, "conspiracy investigators" and analysts.

There are endless examples of real conspiracies

Auto manufacturers routinely conspire to cover up mechanical defects that put customer lives at risk. Even National Public Radio lays out the full timeline of the General Motors conspiracy to hide the problem with its faulty ignition switches.

Last year, food corporations conspired with the Grocery Manufacturers of America (the GMA) to commit money laundering crimes in Washington state in order to funnel money into a campaign to defeat GMO labeling there.

The FDA conspired with a drug manufacturer to keep a deadly diabetes drug called Rezulin on the market in the USA even after safety regulators pulled the product in Europe.

Similarly, the corrupt, criminal-minded operators of mainstream science journals conspired in a particularly evil way to railroad Dr. Andrew Wakefield with provably false accusations about the nature of his research into the side effects of vaccines. The GMO Seralini study has been similarly railroaded by a genuine conspiracy of evil, corrupt science journal editors who routinely conspire to suppress all the science they don't want to be seen by the public. Fortunately, 150 other scientists have come to support Seralini with a global condemnation of the obviously contrived scientific censorship.

We live in a world of such deception and collusion that, frankly stated, it's hard to find a large institution (such as medicine, agriculture or the war industry) which isn't involved in some sort of conspiracy at some level.

What is a "conspiracy theorist?

The pejorative "conspiracy theorist" is meant to demean and ridicule skeptics of official stories.

Most so-called "conspiracy theorists" are really skeptics, by definition. They're skeptical of what the government tells them. They're skeptical of the claim that drug companies are really only interested in helping humankind and have no desire to make money. They're skeptical that food corporations are telling them the truth about what's in their food. And they're also skeptical of anything coming out of Washington D.C., regardless of which party happens to be in power at the time.

People who are not skeptics of "official stories" tend to be dull-minded. To believe everything these institutions tell you is a sign of mental retardation. To ask questions, on the other hand, is a sign of higher intelligence and wisdom.

Skeptics of official stories, it turns out, also have the support of history on their side. How many times has it later been revealed that the American people were lied to by the very institutions we were supposed to trust?

For example, it is an historical fact that 98 million Americans were injected with hidden cancer viruses which were later found in polio vaccines strongly recommended by the CDC. In an effort to cover that up and rewrite history, the CDC later scrubbed all accounts of that history from its website, pretending it never happened.

That's more than a cover-up; it's an Orwellian-style conspiracy to selectively rewrite history and deny Americans any memory of a monumental, deadly error made by the CDC in collusion with the vaccine industry.

According to two former Merck virologists, that company conspired to fake the results of its vaccine tests by spiking test samples with animal antibodies, thereby falsely distorting the results to make the vaccine appear effective. The two virologists filed a False Claims Act with the federal government detailing the conspiracy, saying:

Merck also added animal antibodies to blood samples to achieve more favorable test results, though it knew that the human immune system would never produce such antibodies, and that the antibodies created a laboratory testing scenario that "did not in any way correspond to, correlate with, or represent real life ... virus neutralization in vaccinated people..."

Conspiracies of money and big banks

Every month, the Federal Reserve conspires to steal a portion of your wealth through "quantitative easing" -- an irresponsible money creation scheme that devalues all the currency already in circulation (i.e. the money in your bank account).

The money the Fed creates is, not surprisingly, handed over to the big Wall Street banks -- the same banks that received a jaw-dropping $29 trillion in "bailout money" since the near-collapse of U.S. banking in late 2008.

Why did this bailout money go to the banks instead of the American people? Because powerful people sat in dark rooms and colluded to send the money to the most influential banks. A conspiracy, in other words, by definition.

Had that same amount of money been equally distributed across the U.S. population, the Fed would have distributed nearly $100,000 to each and every citizen in America; man, woman and child. But instead of enriching the population, the banking bailout burdened the population with the debt now owed to the Fed by future taxpayers.

Every $1 trillion created by the Fed, after all, is $1 trillion "loaned" to the U.S. Treasury which must somehow be repaid. In truth, the minute you start to investigate how money is created, why the Federal Reserve is a private banking cartel and why the big banks get all the bailout money, you run head-first into genuine conspiracies almost from the outset. When you look up the word "conspiracy" in a dictionary, it should probably say, "See Banking and Finance."

Our world is full of conspiracies because it's full of people who deceive

The reason conspiracies are real is because humanity is a race capable of extreme deception. As long as there are people whose actions are based in greed, jealousy and a desire to dominate others, there will be real conspiracies plotted and operating across every sector of society.

The correct term for "conspiracy theorist" should really be "conspiracy analyst." Most of the people who are skeptical of official stories are, in fact, analyzing conspiracies in an attempt to understand what really happened and what took place behind closed doors.

And remember: the next time someone flings the phrase "conspiracy theorist" in your direction, simply know that they are effectively wearing a DUNCE hat on their heads by admitting they have failed to acknowledge that true conspiracies are rather commonplace.

(NaturalNews) Over the recent past few decades, the social stigma from the over-the-top absurdities of 1938's Reefer Madness have mostly evaporated. Millions have asserted they have at least tried marijuana without going insane and looking for stronger drugs to get "higher." Yet, today cannabis, a.k.a. marijuana, remains a DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) Schedule I drug, dangerous, addictive and without any medical merit.

Let's examine and refute some of the propaganda that puts users in prison and holds this plant as a Schedule I drug.

(1) No medical merit

In 1974, the NIH (National Institutes of Health) funded the Virginia Medical College to do studies that would determine the damaging effects of marijuana, such as immune system damage. Instead, they found that marijuana reduced brain tumor growth in lab rats. The DEA stepped in and canceled the study and forced destruction of the study documents.

Since then, there have been countless studies and testimonies proving cannabis efficacy at curing many diseases and maladies, including several cancers, effectively and without side effects.

Even patients who were told by mainstream medical doctors to get matters in order because death was around the corner managed to survive in better health than before after a few months of ingesting cannabis with THC, the compound with psychotropic effects (http://www.naturalnews.com).

(2) Marijuana dangers, pharmaceutical hypocrisy

In 1976, president Gerald Ford granted Big Pharma exclusive rights for researching cannabis while banning public research. Of course, Big Pharma's interest is to study enough of anything natural to figure out how to synthesize it and be able to patent it as a pharmaceutical for big bucks. Natural substances can't be patented or monopolized.

Big Pharma succeeded with its synthesis of cannabinoid THC, and the FDA approved Marinol in 1985 to curb vomiting and lack of appetite for chemotherapy patients. In 1992, Marinol was FDA-approved for AIDS patients to prevent anorexic wasting away.

So synthetic THC without many of the 65 other cannabinoids that provide healing was ruled a Schedule III drug with lower potential for abuse than drugs in the first two categories, accepted medical use and mild to moderate possible addiction.

Then, in 2003, another synthetic cannabis patent was approved to create drugs purportedly effective for neurological disorders, including epilepsy and Parkinson's. This patent claimed synthetic CBD content (another cannabinoid) while eliminating THC.

(3) Marijuana destroys brain cells

As part of the "War on Drugs" under Ronald Reagan, a study was done to prove that smoking pot destroyed brain cells. Monkeys were strapped into face masks connected to smoke from marijuana for hours at a time. The lack of oxygen damaged their brain cells, because the smoke was all they could breathe for long periods.

(4) Marijuana is a gateway drug

Show us the heavy metals!

Clean Food Movement advocates also seek to avoid toxic heavy metals in their foods, superfoods and dietary supplements. They want to know what levels are found in their foods, and they seek out foods with the lowest concentrations possible.

At the same time, they also want to know where their food is grown and whether any of it comes from China, a highly-polluted agricultural producer where 20 percent of the nation's farms are heavily contaminated with toxic heavy metals.

Who opposes the Clean Food Movement? Dirty food producers!

Opposition to the Clean Food Movement comes from producers of dirty, contaminated, genetically modified foods.

The larger the food corporation, it seems, the less they want you to know about what's in their food products. That's why most of the largest food corporations conspired with the Grocery Manufacturers of America (GMA) to violate campaign laws in Washington state with a secret money laundering scheme to defeat GMO labeling laws there.

It's also why the GMA is reportedly planning to sue Vermont, the first U.S. state to pass mandatory GMO labeling laws. Evil industry front groups like the GMA believe you shouldn't know what you're buying and eating, so they want to keep consumers completely in the dark about what's in their food.

But the GMA is fighting against the most sweeping trend in the history of food: the Clean Food Movement. Everybody wants to know what they're eating, and as the scrutiny of foods increases across the board, consumers are going to demand more and more details such as country of origin, heavy metals concentrations, and manufacturing techniques.

Even inside the organic product industry, companies that Natural News revealed as selling contaminated rice protein products are rapidly reformulating and scrambling to introduce newer, cleaner products. Generations ago, most people used to grow a significant portion of their own diets. People maintained backyard gardens, and a much larger percentage of the population was involved in agricultural production than are today.

Today, as the number of farmers is less than 2% of the total population, food production has become centralized and shrouded in secrecy. From the horrendous truths about CAFOs (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations) to the dirty little secrets of contaminated "organic" food imported from China, food production today is conducted behind closed doors, using techniques that food producers would often be horrified to see made public.

Even when it comes to food labels, food corporations hide the truths about their food using deceptive labeling code words. For example, MSG is hidden on labels using the ingredient "yeast extract." A food coloring pigment made from crushed female beetles is listed as "carmine," and toxic chemical preservatives are described on food labels as "added to retain freshness."

There are a lot of manufactured foods people wouldn't buy, you see, if the truth was shown on labels, so the food corporations engage in routine deception and obfuscation to keep consumers in the dark.

Huge victories already achieved for food transparency

The Clean Food Movement is winning in all fronts in this war for honest food, by the way. In addition to the Vermont GMO labeling law, Coke and Pepsi recently removed the flame retardant chemical "BVO" from their products due to a popular petition launched by a teenager!

Subway restaurants announced they would remove a "yoga mat chemical" from their breads after a sustained petition drive by the Food Babe.

And companies everywhere are now reformulating superfoods and supplements thanks to the heavy metals research I've conducted at the Natural News Forensic Food Lab.

Likewise, Ronnie Cummins at the Organic Consumers Association is fighting hard to preserve the very definition of "organic" in the face of extreme pressure by corporations to water down the standard. At the same time, the OCA has announced a massive boycott of all food corporations that belong to the GMA.

This includes a full-on boycott against all products made by Nestle, PepsiCo, Kraft, General Mills, Kellogg, Campbells, Smuckers and more. It even includes many natural-sounding brands owned by these corporate giants: Sweet Leaf Tea, Boca Burgers, Larabar, Alexia, Cascadian Farm, Bear Naked, Kashi, Morningstar Farms, Wolfgang Puck and many more.

There's even a "buycott" app for your mobile phone that will allow you to scan products at the grocery store before you buy them, then it tells you whether the product is part of the boycott.

Through grassroots efforts like these, consumers are increasingly empowered to vote with their dollars and stop financially supporting companies that sell dirty, contaminated, genetically modified foods.

The rules have changed: Grassroots power to defeat corporate collusion

The bottom line in all this is that the rules have changed: grassroots power now trumps corporate collusion.

The power of tens of millions of motivated members of the Clean Food Movement to force changes upon billion-dollar corporations is undeniable. The truth about their foods can no longer be suppressed or hidden, and the real power now belongs to consumers and activists.

It has been estimated that the Corrib gas field off the coast of Co. Mayo is worth €13bn, Barryroe oil field off the coast of Co. Cork is worth €85bn and the oil field off the coast of Dalkey, Co.Dublin is worth approximately €60bn (current price of crude oil = $110/barrel approx.). Under current legislation, Ireland receives little or no financial gain from the sale of its natural resources. Ireland has the lowest taxation terms of any developed country. The current tax rate imposed on oil and gas companies stands at 25% of profits incurred. What many people don't know is that this tax has a 100% write-off against exploration and development costs extending back to 25 years before the oil or gas field goes into production. This means that oil and gas companies pay very little tax to the Irish exchequer. On top of that, oil and gas companies are not required to supply Ireland with any of the oil and gas they find. Nor are they required to refine their produce in Ireland. They are not even required to employ a single Irish person.

The Irish fishing industry has also been sold out by past and present Irish governments who agree to unfair EU fishing quotas. The total available catch off Ireland last year was estimated at €1bn. Of this value, Ireland was only entitled to catch €0.19bn, the rest going to other EU countries.

The present Irish government are also considering selling off Ireland's forest harvesting rights for 80 years. This sell off would raise approximately 3 weeks loan interest on the national debt while at the same time destroying tourism. Under the proposed deal, Ireland would be required to replant the trees that are harvested by private companies. This would actually cost the state money instead of alleviating its financial woes.

Thirty officials of church and state who were convicted last week of committing and concealing Crimes against Humanity in Canada have defied a lawful Court Order, and now face immediate arrest.

Today, The International Common Law Court of Justice has issued an International Citizens Arrest Warrant, of one year duration, authorizing the detaining and imprisonment of these thirty fugitives from justice under the terms of the Court Verdict of February 25, 2013.

A copy of the stamped and sealed Citizens Arrest Warrant is attached.

The public seizure of the property and assets of the guilty parties and their organizations will also commence today, in Canada, the United States, England and Italy, in accordance with the Court Order.

The fugitive criminals include Catholic, Anglican and United Church officers in Canada, corporate and RCMP officials, and the Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. But they also include former Pope Joseph Ratzinger, three top Cardinals in Vatican City, the head of the Jesuit Order, and the Queen of England and the Archbishop of Canterbury.

“These convicted felons can hide all they want, but their church property can’t” said Calvin Hodges, a Common Law Court Peace Officer in Canada who will lead church occupations there.

“We’ve declared them Public Enemies for killing thousands of Indian children, protecting child rapists, and covering up their filth. If we can’t arrest them right away, then we’ll ban them and these churches from our communities.”

The Court and its sponsoring body, the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS), are issuing Public Notices today in fifteen countries declaring the Thirty to be wanted criminals who pose a Clear and Present Danger to children and citizens, and asking for the help of other governments and citizens to detain them.

The Citizen Arrest Warrant is being issued to local Citizen Action groups, authorizing them to arrest the Thirty and seize their property.

Local regular police authorities in Canada, England, the United States and Italy have been formally asked by the Court to cooperate in enforcing its Order.

Ongoing church occupations will continue indefinitely and will involve an International Week of Reclamation leading up to Easter Sunday, between March 24 and 31, 2013.

Last week 9 people were arrested in London and Reykjavik for their possible responsibility for Iceland’s financial collapse in 2008, a deep crisis which developed into an unprecedented public reaction that is changing the country’s direction.

It has been a revolution without weapons in Iceland, the country that hosts the world’s oldest democracy (since 930), and whose citizens have managed to effect change by going on demonstrations and banging pots and pans. Why have the rest of the Western countries not even heard about it?

Pressure from Icelandic citizens’ has managed not only to bring down a government, but also begin the drafting of a new constitution (in process) and is seeking to put in jail those bankers responsible for the financial crisis in the country. As the saying goes, if you ask for things politely it is much easier to get them.

This quiet revolutionary process has its origins in 2008 when the Icelandic government decided to nationalise the three largest banks, Landsbanki, Kaupthing and Glitnir, whose clients were mainly British, and North and South American.

After the State took over, the official currency (krona) plummeted and the stock market suspended its activity after a 76% collapse. Iceland was becoming bankrupt and to save the situation, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) injected U.S. $ 2,100 million and the Nordic countries helped with another 2,500 million.

Great little victories of ordinary people

While banks and local and foreign authorities were desperately seeking economic solutions, the Icelandic people took to the streets and their persistent daily demonstrations outside parliament in Reykjavik prompted the resignation of the conservative Prime Minister Geir H. Haarde and his entire government.

Citizens demanded, in addition, to convene early elections, and they succeeded. In April a coalition government was elected, formed by the Social Democratic Alliance and the Left Green Movement, headed by a new Prime Minister, Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir.

Throughout 2009 the Icelandic economy continued to be in a precarious situation (at the end of the year the GDP had dropped by 7%) but, despite this, the Parliament proposed to repay the debt to Britain and the Netherlands with a payment of 3,500 million Euros, a sum to be paid every month by Icelandic families for 15 years at 5.5% interest.

The move sparked anger again in the Icelanders, who returned to the streets demanding that, at least, that decision was put to a referendum. Another big small victory for the street protests: in March 2010 that vote was held and an overwhelming 93% of the population refused to repay the debt, at least with those conditions.

This forced the creditors to rethink the deal and improve it, offering 3% interest and payment over 37 years. Not even that was enough. The current president, on seeing that Parliament approved the agreement by a narrow margin, decided last month not to approve it and to call on the Icelandic people to vote in a referendum so that they would have the last word.

The bankers are fleeing in fear

Returning to the tense situation in 2010, while the Icelanders were refusing to pay a debt incurred by financial sharks without consultation, the coalition government had launched an investigation to determine legal responsibilities for the fatal economic crisis and had already arrested several bankers and top executives closely linked to high risk operations.

Interpol, meanwhile, had issued an international arrest warrant against Sigurdur Einarsson, former president of one of the banks. This situation led scared bankers and executives to leave the country en masse.

In this context of crisis, an assembly was elected to draft a new constitution that would reflect the lessons learned and replace the current one, inspired by the Danish constitution.

To do this, instead of calling experts and politicians, Iceland decided to appeal directly to the people, after all they have sovereign power over the law. More than 500 Icelanders presented themselves as candidates to participate in this exercise in direct democracy and write a new constitution. 25 of them, without party affiliations, including lawyers, students, journalists, farmers and trade union representatives were elected.

Among other developments, this constitution will call for the protection, like no other, of freedom of information and expression in the so-called Icelandic Modern Media Initiative, in a bill that aims to make the country a safe haven for investigative journalism and freedom of information, where sources, journalists and Internet providers that host news reporting are protected.

The people, for once, will decide the future of the country while bankers and politicians witness the transformation of a nation from the sidelines.

It's outrageous -- governments of four-fifths of the world’s people were excluded from the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) negotiations and unelected bureaucrats have worked closely with corporate lobbyists to craft new rules and a dangerously powerful enforcement regime. ACTA would initially cover the US, EU and 9 other countries, then be rolled out across the world. But if we can get the EU to say no now, the treaty will lose momentum and could stall for good.

The oppressively strict regulations could mean people everywhere are punished for simple acts such as sharing a newspaper article or uploading a video of a party where copyrighted music is played. Sold as a trade agreement to protect copyrights, ACTA could also ban lifesaving generic drugs and threaten local farmers' access to the seeds they need. And, amazingly, the ACTA committee will have carte blanche to change its own rules and sanctions with no democratic scrutiny.

Big corporate interests are pushing hard for this, but the EU Parliament stands in the way. Let's send a loud call to Parliamentarians to face down the lobbies and stand firm for Internet freedom. Sign now and send to everyone you know:

New York, NY -- After triumphing in a standoff with the city over the continued protest of Wall Street at Liberty Square in Manhattan's financial district, the Occupy Wall Street movement has spread world wide today with demonstrations in over 1,500 cities globally and over 100 US cities from coast to coast. In New York, thousands marched in various protests by trade unions, students, environmentalists, and community groups. As occupiers flocked to Washington Square Park, two dozen participants were arrested at a nearby Citibank while attempting to withdraw their accounts from the global banking giant.

"I am occupying Wall Street because it is my future, my generations' future, that is at stake," said Linnea Palmer Paton, 23, a student at New York University. "Inspired by the peaceful occupation of Tarhir Square in Cairo, tonight we are are coming together in Times Square to show the world that the power of the people is an unstoppable force of global change. Today, we are fighting back against the dictators of our country - the Wall Street banks - and we are winning."

New Yorkers congregated in assemblies organized by borough, and then flooded the subway system en mass to join the movement in Manhattan. A group calling itself Todo Boricua Para Wall Street marched as a Puerto Rican contingent of several hundred playing traditional music and waving the Lares flag, a symbol of resistance to colonial Spain. "Puerto Ricans are the 99% and we will continue to join our brothers and sisters in occupying Wall Street," said David Galarza Santa, a trade unionist from Sunset Park, Brooklyn. "We are here to stand with all Latinos, who are being scapegoated by the 1%, while it is the bankers who have caused this crisis and the banks who are breaking the law."

While the spotlight is on New York, "occupy" actions are also happening all across the Midwestern and the Southern United States, from Ashland, Kentucky to Dallas, Texas to Ketchum, Idaho. Four hundred Iowans marched in Des Moines, Iowa Saturday as part of the day of action:

"People are suffering here in Iowa. Family farmers are struggling, students face mounting debt and fewer good jobs, and household incomes are plummeting," said Judy Lonning a 69-year-old retired public school teacher. "We're not willing to keep suffering for Wall Street's sins. People here are waking up and realizing that we can't just go to the ballot box. We're building a movement to make our leaders listen."

Protests filled streets of financial districts from Berlin, to Athens, Auckland to Mumbai, Tokyo to Seoul. In the UK over 3,000 people attempted to occupy the London Stock Exchange. "The financial system benefits a handful of banks at the expense of everyday people," said Spyro Van Leemnen, a 27-year old public relations agent in London and a core member of the demonstrators. "The same people who are responsible for the recession are getting away with massive bonuses. This is fundamentally unfair and undemocratic."

In South Africa, about 80 people gathered at the Johannesburg Securities Exchange, Talk Radio 702 reported. Protests continued despite police efforts to declare the gathering illegal. In Taiwan, organizers drew several hundred demonstrators, who mostly sat quietly outside the Taipei World Financial Center, known as Taipei 101.

600 people have begun an occupation of Confederation Park in Ottawa, Canada today to join the global day of action. "I am here today to stand with Indigenous Peoples around the world who are resisting this corrupt global banking system that puts profits before human rights," said Ben Powless, Mohawk citizen and indigenous youth leader. "Native Peoples are the 99%, and we've been resisting the 1% since 1492. We're marching today for self- determination and dignity against a system that has robbed our lands, poisoned our waters, and oppressed our people for generations. Today we join with those in New York and around the world to say, No More!"

In Australia, about 800 people gathered in Sydney's central business district, carrying cardboard banners and chanting "Human need, not corporate greed." Protesters will camp indefinitely "to organize, discuss and build a movement for a different world, not run by the super-rich 1%," according to a statement on the Occupy Sydney website.

The movement's success is due in part to the use of online technologies and international social networking. The rapid spread of the protests is a grassroots response to the overwhelming inequalities perpetuated by the global financial system and transnational banks. More actions are expected in the coming weeks, and the Occupation of Liberty Square in Manhattan will continue indefinitely.
